MVM EGI's Chinese subsidiary MVM EGI Cooling Technologies (China) Co., Ltd. is proud to announce the signing of a new contract with a private Chinese company. The contract is for the supply of a Heller cooling system for a 2x350 MW power plant in Xinjiang province.
Once completed, the plant will generate electricity and supply hot water to the surrounding villages. MVM EGI has supplied numerous Heller Systems® to power plants in China over the past 20 years, building a reputation for excellence and quality service.
The Heller System® is the cooling principle invented by the founder of our company and has been used in power plants for more than 50 years. Its big advantage is that it does not use water to cool the power plant, saving around 10 million cubic metres of water per year in otherwise rather dry regions. We believe that this project will provide a reliable and cost-effective solution to meet the energy needs of the local community while conserving precious water resources.
At MVM EGI, we are proud of our international experience in power plant cooling systems. Since our founding in 1948, we have come a long way to become a leading player in the global power and industrial cooling systems market. For decades, our cooling solutions have contributed to the environmentally friendly and water-efficient development of power generation. Our main profile is the design, manufacture and project implementation of dry, wet, wet/dry hybrid cooling systems and cooling solutions for special applications, including emergency cooling for power plants. We stand out at national and international level with our patents, more than half a century of engineering and contracting experience, concrete projects in several countries and continents, our own heat exchanger manufacturing and our active R&D practice.
Congratulations to all our colleagues who worked on this project and we are excited to see how the new cooling system will positively impact the local community and the environment.
